Etymology[edit]

The Kanji in the Japanese name of Ogre Leoness, (Goon: ō/ Kan'on: / Kun: kimi, sumeragi), means emperor, whose Kan'on is as same as its owner's first name. "Ogre" may be derived from the Japanese for imperial fang, 王牙 (ouga), and the Goon of the Bakugan's Kanji.

Trivia[edit]

  • Ogre Leoness was once named Three Children (参子/サンコ, Sanko?)[1][2] tentatively, which may be misinterpretion of Three Tiger, 参虎 (sanko), probably from the fact that it is Leoness's third variation and that it is called Liger in its first variation.
  • The front section has an off-center nub that causes shots to curve slightly.
