Gargonoid, Gargoyle (ガーゴイル, Gāgoiru?) in the Japanese version, is a gargoyle-like Bakugan from Bakugan Battle Brawlers.

Information[edit]

Description[edit]

Gargonoid is a humanoid creature with the face and wings of a gargoyle. Spines adorn the tips of its massive wings. He has massively sharp horns on his head and claw-like fingernails.

Bakugan Official Handbook[edit]

If Gargonoid isn't moving, you might mistake it for a gargoyle. Its face and powerful wings make it look like one of those stone creatures. But you won't find Gargonoid sitting on top of a roof. Like all Bakugan, this warrior loves to brawl![1]

Bakugan: Ultimate Handbook[edit]

Gargonoid resembles a gargoyle, one of those creepy stone statues mounted on buildings to scare off evil spirits. On the field, Gargonoid does a good job of scaring his opponents. His wings are tipped with sharp spikes. His long, curved horns are dangerous weapons and his clawed hands can shred just about anything in his path. Top that off with a scary gargoyle face and you've got one frightening foe.

Anime[edit]

Bakugan Battle Brawlers[edit]

Darkus Gargonoids were used in the anime as foot soldiers when Naga's army invaded Earth and as an army in the hybrid Pyrus, Darkus world of Vestroia. There were also Pyrus Serpenoids. Jenny had an Aquos Gargonoid. Dan Kuso, Kenta, Takashi, Tatsuya, and Chan Lee had Pyrus Gargonoids and Shuji had a Darkus and Ventus Gargonoid, and another Ventus Gargonoid was seen in episode 11 in the original series. A Subterra Gargonoid was seen in episode 8 and another Subterra one was seen on Klaus' wall decoration.

Bakugan: New Vestroia[edit]

A Darkus Gargonoid was seen in Invasion of the Vestals.
