Vertexx (ベルテクス, Berutekusu?) was Chris' Guardian Bakugan in Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge. His BakuNano was Orehammer.

In Fall From Grace, he was used by Chris and fought the majority of the battle against Taylean and Drago.

He made another battling appearance in Mind Search alongside Krowll, being used by Chris in the Capture the Flag challenge where he used Orehammer, but was beaten by Taylean.

Vertexx appeared throughout Interspace Under Siege and A Hero Returns with the rest of the elite Chaos Bakugan.

He also appeared in True Colours and Dangerous Beauty but was defeated quickly both times by Taylean.

In Interspace Armageddon, Mag Mel used Vertexx to stop the trapped battlers from escaping Interspace, but Vertexx quickly failed to Noah and Ziperator.
