Pegatrix is the eighth episode of Bakugan Battle Planet. It aired on December 27th, 2018 alongside Local Heroes.

Plot

Lia disagrees with her new Bakugan Pegatrix on battle techniques.

Summary

Gorthion battles Cyndeous for a video but the image is too messed up, Lia suddenly hears a sound calling to her. She finds a white flower that gets engulfed by the white goo, which reveals a Bakugan.. This Haos Bakugan turns into Bakugan Form, her name is Pegatrix.. Somewhere else Lia is actually being watched by a pink haired girl. She later receives a message from a butler of a girl named China Riot. Riot sends an invite to battle Lia to a battle, Lia signs the document, accepting the battle for tomorrow. Wynton then discovers that the contract says “winner takes the loser Bakugan”, which Lia didn’t notice… Lia believes she will win. The AO go with the butler in the limo and arrive at a strange square shaped stage, meeting China Riot, a six year old girl. The drome is set, Lia sends out Gorthion against China’s Ventus Maxotaur. The two exchange punches, Gorthion gets hit and Lia goes towards a BakuCore before China touches the eye of her toy and causes a pillar to stop Lia. Maxotaur attacks with Strength of Maxotaur, China uses her plush toy again and causes a pillar to startle Gorthion, Gorthion loses the battle and China wins, taking Gorthion.

Dan and Wynton challenge China to get Gorthion, a member of the AO back, saying it's his turn, but Lia warns that China can make the ground move. Drago and Trox fight Maxotaur but have trouble fighting due to China’s rigged battlefield, Lia tells China that she should be embarrassed using dirty tricks, but China says its just strategy. Pegatrix says China’s taunts are taking control of her, she tells Lia that they can use their own strategy and tap into a new type of power to win beautifully. Dan struggles to find a BakuCore due to the walls being rigged to move by China, but Lia uses Pegatrix, who has a camera to look over the battlefield and find the BakuCores. Dan and Wynton find a BakuCore and China discovers Pegatrix has a camera, she tells Maxotaur to attack and finish Pegatrix until Trox and Drago’s attack stops Maxotaurs attack. A combination of Energy Draw and Wing Cutter finishes Maxotaur. Despite losing, China refuses to give Maxotaur, saying there was no contract. Lia thanks Pegatrix, her new friend, for winning the battle all because of her.
