The Awful Ones is the seventieth episode of Bakugan Battle Planet. It will air in the United States on Cartoon Network in the future alongside The Bakugan Breakers. It was released early on the Cartoon Network App on September 6th, 2019.

Plot

Dan, Wynton, Lia, and Shun face off against Magnus, China Riot, and Col. Tripp, with Trhyno entering the fight to protect the Core Cell, everyone is defeated except for Dan and Magnus. Magnus won't give up, and evolves Nillious into Hyper Nillious to take down Trhyno and get the Core Cell. Dan and the others notice Trhyno has been infected by Tiko's substance, so Pegatrix and Turtonium try to heal Trhyno. Trhyno is still infected, but he gains the ability to speak again, he tells the AO that he was protecting the Core Cell from the evil Tiko but got the V Virus after fending him off.
