Trading Card Game[edit]
- In Bakugan form on the commercial, it seems to have the head of Serpenoid and the body of Hexados.
- In the commercial, it is rolled onto a Gate Card from Season 1.
- In Trap form, it looks similar to both Hexados and Legionoid.
- Pythantus' etymology likely comes from "Python", and "Thanatos" the Greek word for "Death".
- Pythantus is the only game-exclusive Bakugan Trap to have it's own monster form.
